We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our successful Area 7 Maintenance Team as a
Highways Maintenance Operative providing pre-planned maintenance and response on our busy motorways/highways across East Midlands.

This is an exciting opportunity, as every day is different.

Working in all seasons, on either Monday - Friday or 4on 4 off shift pattern, you will be responsible for:

  • Resurfacing and patching our Roads/footway/footpath ways
  • Maintaining our streetlights and Traffic signs
  • Responding to emergency incidents on the road network and contributing to corporate emergencies.

About the role:


You don't need experience Located in our LFE Motorway Depot and on the road, we will provide you with all the training you need from our best management team of whom have also progressed internally as well as providing you with full PPE, tools, and career development.


It doesn't stop here; we will put you on a clear career pathway where we will continue to develop your skills to allow you to progress to a Team Supervisor.


You will receive a salary range between
£24,000pa - £34,000pa with the potential to earn an additional
£3,000 per annum in overtime and shift allowance.


What we are looking for:

If you hold a LGV, HGV or Class 2 licence or street works ticket, are reliable and have a strong work ethic we want to hear from you
