Nights Senior Care Assistant - required for our brand-new luxury care home 'Selwood House' in Charlton Down, Dorchester, Dorset, Part of the Country Court Family.

Hours: 44 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times 20:00-08:00)

Selwood House Care Home located in Charlton Down near Dorchester accommodates up to 84 residents, and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to cater for various care needs.

Specialising in residential care, dementia care, and short-term respite care, Selwood House will provide a warm welcome as soon as you set foot through the door.

ABOUT THE SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT ROLE
Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents' lives

Your responsibilities will include:

Helping our residents with personal support and care.
Aiding their emotional wellbeing and social needs
Administration and monitoring of medications to residents Supporting residents at meal times
Interacting with our residents on a personal level
Maintaining care plans
Supporting residents at meals time

Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team.
Be no stranger to working night shifts
Have a friendly & caring attitude.
Able to engage well with the residents and their families
Have an understanding of people with Dementia
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care or willing to work towards this.
Great communication skills, both written & verbal.
