We are recruiting for an exciting new position within the Human Resources team, advising and supporting Talent and Culture.

THE ROLE


As the HR Advisor responsible for Talent Culture, you will partner with the business to develop and implement communication and reward strategies that will attract, engage and develop employees building on a high performance culture.


Key things you will be responsible for:
Providing direction to promote a positive work environment based on Clan Cameron Davidson Core Values

Ownership of the Clan Voice mechanisms - clan 'voices in action'; Clan Newsletter; HR Representative on the SCC

Ensuring the SCC are upskilled and effective in role

Working with the Hotel HOD Team to ensure they are creating an environment that attracts new employees and helps ensure that they want to come to work each day

Embedding and evolving the company vision and values and bringing them to life in an engaging and meaningful way for all employees

Overseeing the delivery of regular employee engagement events experiences that deliver against business priorities, drive leadership visibility and bring our values to life

Design employee recognition programmes and create support initiatives in priority areas such as employee wellbeing and mental health

Leading on the Diversity, Equity Inclusion agenda to create make Cameron House an inclusive workplace

Collaborating with the internal communications and marketing team where relevant

Ownership of internal audits of employee welfare facilities

Providing ongoing coaching and feedback to HOD's and work with the wider HR team in actively addressing identified training gaps in people policies

Support with Clan Welcome company induction and delivery of the HR section in the absence of the Director of Human Resources

Working with the HR Advisor - Employee Relations to create a culture which mitigates workplace conflict by ongoing review of our listening mechanisms and common employee frustrations

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL ALSO NEED:

  • Degree in HR, Hospitality or Business related field, or relevant CIPD accreditation (or equivalent)
  • Experience of working within the Human Resources function as an HR Administrator, Assistant or Advisor
  • Experience of working within a large scale quality hotel environment would be an advantage
  • Proven ability to build great working relationships at all levels in the organisation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, and drive collaboration
  • High level of proficiency in all forms of communication
  • Strong IT skills with knowledge of Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Passion for helping people, and recognising contributions
