To develop activities with individuals and support people to use and access these. To offer group-based sessions on ward. These may have a variety of focuses, including reminiscence, social inclusion, communication, leisure, and recovery.

To work alongside the nursing team As an integral and highly valued member of the multi-disciplinary team, the Activity Co-ordinator will provide support and practical assistance to older people in order for them to regain confidence in their skills and abilities to enable a successful re-integration into the community
