Salary:
£58,000+


What you'll be doing:


  • Review and challenge inputs from Airframe Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing and Project Management
  • Supporting and partnering with the business to identify ways to maximise Return on Sales to ensure there is focus on maximising operating cash flows
  • Provide financial insight and proposed actions to improve the underlying financial performance and understand the broader economic climate and how it may impact the future profitability of each bid, with a focus on inflation
  • Integrate within the Bid team to become a trusted Business Partner and work with the Obsolescence Integrated Project Team to understand any dependencies

Your skills and experiences:


Essential

  • Preferably has experience as a Finance Business Partner engaging with nonFinance staff and providing decision support to stakeholders demonstrating business acumen
  • Someone who can adapt to change quickly and be an ambassador for the function
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to reprioritise to meet key deadlines, good communication skills, team player, ability to challenge and influence the business and have a proactive and inquisitive nature

Desirable

  • Evidence of a true financial partner in the business with the ability to work with cross functional stake holders

The Production & ILS team:


In the Production and ILS Team, you will work across the different elements of Finance, especially the internal FBP's to understand the key inputs to the bids and CSRs.

Driving process improvements, with particular focus on accuracy of inputs and delivery of cost opportunities
