Calling all SEND Tutors with experience working with ASD._

Job description
We are looking for an excellent SEND tutor to support a 16yo male student with autism and developmental delay. The student requires 10 hours of education engagement per week across 3 or 4 sessions. The days can be flexible, but you must be available for sessions that commence between 9am-11am in the morning.

Requirements for applicants:

Excellent behaviour management skills and have a proven track record of excellent teaching.
Driven by working with students. Interested in education, energetic and enthusiastic
A team player, keen to bounce ideas with other staff members and support them where necessary.
SEND teaching experience, with a particular focus on autism.
Experience planning and holding 1:1 SEND sessions.
We require that all of our tutors hold a valid enhanced DBS certificate and to undergo our safer recruitment process. We can organise this for you if you do not have one at present.
You'll work in cohesion to our Child Safeguarding Policy.

COVID-19 considerations:
Our tutors deliver sessions in the student's home or online depending on the clients preference. The majority of tutoring is currently face to face, we expect this trend to continue. Applications are preferred from tutors based in the area we serve.
