About this opportunity

Colleague Lab sits at the intersection of colleague and customer experiences across IP&I.

We're on a values led mission to reimagine the way our customers interact with us, and the tools and experiences our colleagues are empowered with when helping them.

By reducing failure demand, increasing self-service and automating processes, through technology, systems design, AI, and human centred design, our Lab works cross-channel across IP&I to make change happen, at pace.

What are we looking for from you?

The purpose of the role is to coordinate dependencies between the platform and other parties external to the platform, such as other platforms, Group Executive Functions, and 3rd parties, this may include coordinating complex and high-risk implementations.

The Lead Integrator sits at Platform-level and covers both business and technology change.

Key responsibilities for the role:

  • Establish pivotal integration points across Labs/Platforms and effectively communicates these integration points to relevant stakeholders. Developing the sequence for integration related tasks in collaboration with Lab Leadership and aligned to the Lab backlog.
  • You'll catalogue and manage dependencies between other teams, working with stakeholders to ensure interlock, enabling the platform to deliver at pace. You'll identify blockers to delivery and, where possible, mitigate/resolve, escalating to product owner(s)/platform leadership where required.
  • By managing suppliers (3rd Party), you'll provide oversight and manage underperformance. You'll manage complex and highrisk implementations requiring integration between multiple parties (internal/external) to ensure safe delivery.
  • You'll coordinate the integration process and/or implementation events across shared infrastructure (e.g. Upgrading the Mainframe); leading on the SI process, coordinating parties to get the change over the line. You'll provide expertise (not content) for governance activity owned by the Product Owner, e.g. PRIA, for change across multiple programmes.

Skills needed for this role:

  • Agile Methodology & Tools
  • Manage a number of agile teams across the business, delivering high priority or significant change to the Bank. Acting as a servant leader to build a work environment in which colleagues, at all levels, feel respected, appreciated, and valued.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Using personal impact and positioning to build and sustain longterm relationships (including Csuite Executives). Resolving conflict, building consensus and influencing good outcomes.
  • Planning, Tracking, Reporting & Governance
  • Communicate regular status updates to key stakeholders while resolving high priority issues affecting delivery. Using experience to tackle critical risks/issues/dependencies arising out of Status Reporting and agile meetings, taking responsibility for critical issues while ensuring resolution within agreed timescales.
  • Leadership & Culture
  • Applies experience in cultural change initiatives to support various agendas in the Group (e.g., feedback). Understands the main barriers to changing culture and the criticality of leadership agreement.
  • Coaching & Feedback
  • Observes and uses active listening and empathy to connect with people, without judging and being selffocused. Uses experience to provide clear, relevant, constructive, solutionfocused, positive and motivating advice which is future focused.
