LTS Group is a small company in Enfield and our goal is to ensure we find the perfect job to enhance your existing skills.

Our client school deemed 'Good' in their last Ofsted, urgently require a SEND Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 student with autism.

The role is a full time temporary position where you will be working from 8.30am until 3.30pm Monday to Friday each week.

How we will help you:

Be on hand to support you throughout your assignment
Offer inhouse training and guidance specific to the child you are working with
Pay an excellent rate of pay within the sector

The Role

You will support the child on a 1:1 basis in and out of the classroom
Assist with all work set and help in areas of specific weakness
Develop appropriate resources to motivate and encourage
Provide continuous positive reinforcement and praise
Understand and attend to the the pupils needs and assist in developing strategies to manage these
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and parents to ensure the pupil progresses in their learning

Key Skills Required

Evidence of working with children with SEND
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to form positive relationships with children and adults
Ability to be flexible and adaptable in order to meet the needs of the child
Have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the child's welfare
