DK Recruitment are looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their clients' accounts team in Augher on a full time and permanent basis.
Our client works with global companies and have offices nationally around the UK with the hope of expanding again in 2023.
As the companies Purchase Ledger Assistant you will be supporting the wider accounts team as well as other departments within the organisation.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Matching and processing high volumes of supplier invoices onto accounting system
- Liaising with relevant internal departments daily to ensure that goods receipting of purchase orders is completed so that month end deadlines are met.
- Ensuring that invoices are checked for accuracy and VAT compliance
- Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
- Regular reconciliation of supplier statements
Requirements:
- Previous Experience in a similar role preferred
- Good IT skills including previous experience of Microsoft Excel
- Well organised, able to prioritise and manage multi tasks simultaneously
- An inquisitive mindset looking at better ways of working and take responsibility for own projects
