Financial Controller

Up to £60k per year

Are you an experienced, talented and dynamic Financial Controller within the hospitality sector, looking for a new challenge


R E Recruitment are proud to represent our client in the search for a reliable Financial Controller, for this new and exciting high end establishment.


THE ROLE:


  • Cash flow forecasting for funding facility
  • Overseeing company accounts
  • Payroll and invoicing
  • Building strong relationships with the Board members, internal stakeholders and external advisers.
  • Monthly and annual reports
  • Contributing to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging figures and providing financial analysis of business results and targets
  • Reviewing internal processes and procedures
  • Monitoring and managing cash flow
  • Establishing and implementing financial reporting system
  • Developing budgets and financial planning
  • Ensuring the companies compliance with laws and regulations
  • Develop current procedures & processes to ensure complete accuracy
This a hands on role, taking control of all of the finances and forecasting the budget.


THE PERSON:


  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a financial controller role
  • A critical thinker and problemsolving skills.
  • Proactive and creative
  • Analytical with excellent writing skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Solid IT literacy advanced excel, Sage 50 would be advantageous.
Strong and up to date knowledge of tax and HMRC regulations would be advantageous.

  • Excellent time management
  • Understanding of data privacy standards
  • Property management experience
