Development Scientist/Senior Scientist

12 Month Contractor Role (opportunity for extension/perm)

Cambridge area
REED are working with a global biotechnology company with multiple sites in the UK.

There's an interesting position available to join a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers and to work on developing new and innovative products.

About the Job

Designing new experiments and test procedures, experiment execution and results analysis
Sourcing and preparation of materials for testing automated systems
Execution of biological/ biochemical based assays
Preparation of data and reports
Participation in design reviews with peers and other teams

About You

PhD/ Masters in Bioprocessing, Biology, Biochemical Engineering, Immunology, Cell Therapy, Cell Biology or similar
Experienced in aseptic laboratory technique and mammalian culture
Ideally experienced in product development
Understanding of bioprocessing industry is preferred
High level of laboratory competence
Able to analyse complex technical data
Project management skills
Creative thinking; analytical and logical problem solving
Able to work independently and as a part of a team
