Maintenance and Operations Support Technician

Salary:
£9.50 - £10.45

Location:
Huddersfield


XCL Group are working alongside a growing company who are looking for people to join them at a small manufacturing site in West Yorkshire.

This opportunity offers the potential of long-term employment they are looking for hard working and reliable individuals to become a key part of their manufacturing departments.


Responsibilities

  • Processing tool and equipment problem solving, including communication with equipment support desks
  • Providing support with cable cutting to allow free flow of the production through the cell
  • Set control and set quality monitoring for engineering and technical areas
  • Equipment, tooling, jig and fixture control, maintenance and servicing, including internal/external daily. Weekly and annual service intervals and H&S checks
  • Working with project desk technical support to achieve effective and efficient equipment performance
  • Include internal and external calibration management and recording
  • Programme and fault finding producing packs for automatic processing lines

Knowledge and Attributes

  • Have good listening and learning capability
  • Good team collaboration and effectiveness
  • Have good IT skills
  • Must be reliable and organised
  • Must have good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Able to control and manage distraction

Hours

  • Monday
  • Friday
  • 38 hours per week

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm


Salary:
£9.50-£10.45 per hour
