About the Role:

The main responsibilities of the role include:

Provide an efficient, accurate and professional dispensing service to our patients.
Label, dispense and check acute and repeat medication.
Maintain a neat and organised dispensary.
Support the team with additional duties applicable to the role.
Assist the MCA and Pharmacist team with providing medication counselling.
Administration tasks associated within the dispensary team.

You will have the following skills and experience:

You will have at least a Diploma Level 2/3 Dispensary or equivalent Pharmacy Services qualification.
At least 2 years (or equivalent) dispensary and pharmacy experience.
Excellent clinical and medication knowledge.
Understanding and experience of working as a dispenser in a community pharmacy practice setting.
The commitment to continue to learn new skills and develop your career.
The confidence to work as part of a pharmacy practice team and using your own initiative in decision making.
The ability to be adaptable and flexible in your approach.
Excellent patient facing interpersonal communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing
Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medication.
