Description

We are recruiting for a Pig Stockperson for a farm in Staffordshire (ST20).
The farm is an indoor 1600-sow breeding-to-weaning unit.


The producer is looking for a pig stockperson, ideally with good pig experience, particularly in the dry-sow area and or the farrowing houses.


Job description:


  • Ideally able to cover all aspects of Pig Husbandry
  • Recording keeping with great attention to detail
  • Using modern unit facilities
  • Using a wet feed system mill and mix
  • Able to work well with the team

Salary:
£27,000 - £30,000 (DOE)

Plus:


  • A workplace pension after the qualifying period
  • Assistance with moving or salary enhancement towards rent.
Hours: 7:30 am - 4 pm (Mon-Fri)

Alternate weekend working approx. 4 hours each day
