Description

We are currently seeking self-employed Security Guards to join our network of professionals on a flexible basis.

As a self-employed Security Guard, you will have the opportunity to work on various assignments as and when the need arises.

You will be responsible for providing security services to clients, maintaining a safe and secure environment, and ensuring the protection of their properties.

Pay rates for these assignments range between £10.50 and £14.00 per hour, depending on the specific job requirements.

Responsibilities:

Independently manage assigned security tasks and responsibilities according to client instructions and industry standards.
Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to prevent unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, and other security violations.
Monitor surveillance systems and alarm systems, promptly responding to any suspicious activities or irregularities.
Respond to emergencies and incidents, providing necessary assistance and taking appropriate action as required.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of incidents, observations, and activities during each assignment.
Interact with clients, visitors, and other individuals in a professional and courteous manner, addressing inquiries and concerns.
Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure effective security operations.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a related field is preferred.
Possess a valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license or relevant certifications.
Strong observational and problemsolving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Selfmotivated and capable of working independently without direct supervision.
