Paying c£54K plus excellent benefits, this North West not-for-profit housing association is looking for a permanent Financial Reporting Manager to join their forward-thinking and ambitious team.

Working as a key member of the SMT, managing a focussed andhighly motivated finance team in supporting the Exec to deliver excellent value for their customers.


THE ROLE
As Financial Reporting Manager, you will ensure the delivery of an operational finance function, ensuring robust financial control.

Coach and mentor, the Financial Reporting Team to deliver efficient, accurate, and consistent finance service, and be accountablefor the coordination and delivery of financial and management accounting services.


Key accountabilities:


  • Lead and coordinate the delivery of Finance Partnering Services
  • Provide monthly management information and financial reports for the Executive Team and Board
  • Lead the annual budget process
  • Lead and coordinate the financial year end
  • Responsible for accurate submission of any regulatory returns and associated financial analysis
  • Be a proactive champion of continual improvement
  • Lead on the development of the finance systems (Open Accounts)

THE PERSON

  • You will ideally be a qualified accountant with strong financial control and reporting skills. You will have experience of working within housing or a similar regulated industry
  • An excellent communicator at all levels, you will be able to both support and challenge the stakeholders and your peers to enable theteam and department to flourish and develop best practice
  • You will be a natural leader and mentor to the team to enable them to develop themselves and engender a customer led culture
