Our Bristol
centre has an opportunity for a Junior Designer/Sign Maker.
Salary dependant on experience.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday-Friday 08.00am - 4.30pm

About the role

Signs Express Bristol is looking to expand our existing team and are now recruiting for a Junior Designer/Sign Maker.


You will be learning a highly skilled trade - on the design side, you will be working with Adobe packages, while a sign maker contributes to the manufacture and installation of a variety of signs including interior signs, exterior signs, vehicle graphics, window graphics, shop signage, exhibition displays and digital signage.


What you will do:


Producing rough sketches or computer visuals to show to the client, use specialist computer design software to prepare designs, prepare detailed final working drawings/plans for manufacturing.


Full training will be given in all aspects of the role.

What we are looking for:

Ideally you will be computer literate with the equivalent of GCSEs Grade C/4 or above.

Some experience of Adobe programs would be an advantage.

You will have good DIY experience.


You need to be imaginative with an eye for detail, hardworking and enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and progress within the trade.

A driving license is essential.
