Our Harrogate based client is currently looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis

This is a rapidly expanding business offering an exciting opportunity to grow and progress with them

You will support the Finance Manager in the management of the day to day finance operation including taking lead on Account Payable function.

THE ROLE

Bank Reconciliation
Council Tax Reconciliation
Deferred Income Reconciliation

Accounts Payable

Processing Invoices, Statement Checks & Preparing Payment Runs
Preparing Payroll Schedules ready for payment
Intercompany Recharges B2B.
Supplier Statement Reviews
Will ensure the accuracy of all charges and credits posted to individual accounts and verify the accuracy of balances of Accounts.
Taking a proactive role in managing Accounts Payable function
Involvement in month end processes including Accruals, Prepayments & Reporting.
Producing reports for internal review.
Support data migration to new accounts system.

You will be organised, with a positive, can-do working attitude. Professional, confident and diplomatic when liaising with others with a strong, confident telephone manner. You will be accurate, efficient whilst processing all financial information with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed.

For this role you will need previous accounting experience ideally with knowledge of accounting packages and you will be a huge advantage if you have your AAT qualifications.

This is a full time, permanent role working 9am - 5.30pm.

The training period will be full time, in the office but after this is completed you will have the option to work hybrid - 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Salary on offer is up to £26k, plus an annual bonus at Christmas time with benefits including, company pension, On-site parking, Wellness programme.
