Client Details
Our client is a fast paced and ambitious large Group of companies with global presence. As Group Financial Accountant, you will be working as part of the large finance function in North Nottingham.

Description
You will be working alongside other Group Financial Accountants and will be reporting into the Senior Group Financial Accountant. Your role will be extremely varied and no day will be the same.

Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:


  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts ready for audit
  • Ensuring subsidiary statutory accounts are filed on time
  • Responsibility for the Group's budgeting and forecasting process
  • Ensuring variances in budget and forecast are understood
  • Liaising with external auditors at year end
  • Preparing financial statements
  • Supporting with complex accounting areas e.g. acquisitions, share schemes, derivatives and foreign subsidiaries
  • Supporting more junior members of the team e.g. supporting the Assistant Group Financial Accountant with consolidating Group accounts

Profile
- have a proven track record of working in financial accounts (in practice or industry)
- will be studying CIMA, ACCA or ACA
- have good knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS
- have strong Excel skills


Job Offer

  • A salary between £35,000 and £45,000 (dependent upon experience)
