Neway International is looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our client team in Sutton.

As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and cleanliness of our client's kitchen.

Job Responsibilities:

Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients for the chefs
Collect and wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
Empty trash and maintain cleanliness in kitchen work areas
Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks, such as measuring ingredients and assembling food trays
Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies, dishware, and utensils
Adhere to food hygiene and safety regulations at all times
Collaborate with other members of the kitchen and frontofhouse staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Requirements:

Experience as a Kitchen Porter or similar role is preferred
Basic knowledge of food hygiene and sanitation standards
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle kitchen tools and equipment safely
High level of cleanliness and attention to detail
Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in hot and humid conditions
Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
