Due to the continuous growth of our clients Secured department, they are now looking for a Second Charge Mortgage Advisor.

This is a unique opportunity to join an industry leading financial brokerage. You will be part a very successful department withinthe Group with a clear strategy for success and growth.

Second Charge Mortgage Advisor Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Second Charge Team Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Managing a portfolio of customers with a variation of inbound and outbound streams
  • To deliver exceptional sales performance against agreed KPIs
  • To always demonstrate professionalism and exceptional customer service, to ensure the highest levels of performance is achieved in all aspects of the role
  • To establish customer's requirements by evaluating their current financial situation
  • Present the most appropriate options for the customer to choose by providing the right advice
  • Be the first point of contact for client queries and concerns
  • Keeping up to date with lender criteria and industry knowledge
  • Understand lending products available to the customers and the key features of the products
  • Maximise the income generation of each potential customer and recommend the loan or associated products in a professional manner

What we need from you:


  • CeMAP 1 and willing to work towards being fully CeMAP qualified
  • Sales experience with proven track record of hitting KPIs and targets within a dynamic sales environment
  • Determined and results focused
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing across a wide range of audiences
  • Selfmotivated with ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Experience in a pressurised role working towards targets and deadlines
  • Ability to juggle several tasks at once
  • Have good time management
  • Have an excellent telephone manner with the ability to have quality conversations resulting in the right outcome for the customer
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
