About the team:
The accounts team based in Sheffield manage the accounts for all offices within the EMEA region.


About the role:
This position provides Accounts Receivable Assistance support to the EMEA region. Primary role is to ensure all general accounting tasks are completed.

Assist in the development and maintenance of procedures to ensure that they are completed accurately and in a timely manner.


Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Post cash receipts daily into Elite
  • Assist in the Trust Accounting process.
  • Support reconciling bank accounts on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist in the month end process creating and posting of month end journals
  • Provide support to the Finance Managers as and when required
  • Work collaboratively to achieve results and process improvement
  • Any other general administration and ad hoc reporting

About you:


Ideally you will have a background in a similar role and have excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.

Preferable AAT or similar qualifications with plans to study ACCA/CIMA/FC.

You must have good IT skills with a strong understanding and evidence of using Excel.

  • Assists in the review/improvement of methods/procedures of managing day to day relationships

  • Good eye for detail with ability to analysis root causes of issues

  • Completes task within agreed timeframes / service standards

  • Plays a key role within the team to promote an efficient and effective team culture
  • Liaises with the Manager on workload and suggests improvements / solutions
  • Adheres to the SRA Code of Conduct, FCPA and UK Bribery Act, in addition to any locally relevant legislation/guidelines as advised

Our Sheffield office is based in the city centre with the added bonus of free on-site parking, as well as several public transport links close by.
