Intermediary Support Executive:


We have an excellent opportunity for an Intermediary Support Executive to join our busy team based in the Isle of Man office.

The job holder will be the primarily frontline for Intermediary (B2B) queries via any communication channel. Monitoring team workflows, acting as the initial point of reference for any queries. Management and coaching of team individuals to meet business objectives.

Role Specific Details

  • Be responsible for the Intermediary Support Team Officers, ensure that sufficient cover is available during working hours of 9am to 5pm UK time Monday to Friday.
  • Monitor your direct reports, assess workflow, and allocate accordingly to meet required service standards.
  • Enhance and develop the Intermediary Support team profile across the business in the Isle of Man, Jersey, London, Dubai, and South Africa.
  • Ensure all staff are fully conversant with Bank Policies, relevant procedures and products and regular training provided is recorded on individual training plans.
  • Deliver 121 performance reviews, halfyearly and annual appraisals ensuring consistency of delivery across the team.
  • Deliver performance management where necessary.
  • Working closely with the Training team, assist in the development and implementation of training plans for your reporting line staff.
  • Where appropriate record any incidents and escalate complaints in accordance with bank policy and procedures.
  • Work closely with the B2B Relationship Owners to ensure consistency of service delivery is managed in the absence of the Relationship Manager.
  • Attend meetings in absence of line Manager.
  • Produce and maintain any required MI for Line Manager.

Technical Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial services environment.
  • Experience in managing teams effectively.
  • An understanding of applicable regulatory frameworks
  • Effective time management skills, capable of meeting challenging deadlines, striving to improve turnaround times.
  • Good working knowledge of the bank's systems including CRM.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisation and communication skills used to build strong team values and high moral.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
