Challenge-trg Recruitment is looking for Cleaners to work part time at the local hospital in the Pontypool area.

Enhanced cleaning provides a clean and safe environment for patients, staff and visitors and helps to reduce the spread of Health Care Acquired Infections.

Role and responsibilities:

Responsible for carrying out cleaning tasks of clinical and non-clinical areas using appropriate cleaning equipment, materials and cleaning products, to the method and frequencies required.

Cleaning of all types of floor surfaces, furnitures, fixtures and fittings, wall surfaces and doors.

Clean wash hand basins, showers, baths, toilets, urinals and fittings.

Collect waste for disposal; replace waste bags & clean waste bins.

Replenish disposable items - toilet paper, hand towels, paper rolls and soap.

Clean dispensers and holders, internally and externally.

Specialist cleaning tasks when necessary, requiring the use of steam cleaners and HPV equipment.

Shifts available:

14:00 - 18: h p/week)

Pay rates:

£10.62 per hour
Monday to Friday

£14.97 per hour - Saturdays / or after 8 PM Monday to Friday

£19.43 OT per hour Sundays and Bank Holidays

Immediate start available

Experience will be an advantage
