An accomplished, creative and inspired design and build consultancy in Central London are in the process of appointing an ambitious Health and Safety Consultant to work as CDM Advisor on various high-end office fit out projects for blue chip clients.


This new and exciting work opportunity would suit somebody with previous experience in the duties of Principal Designer and CDM Advisor with a keen understanding of pre-construction and design phase, comfortable within a design team and experienced in advisingon CDM throughout construction phase through to completion.


The role of the Health and Safety Consultant
As the Health and Safety Consultant your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing Principal Designer duties and support as CDM Advisor
  • Advising on CDM regulations throughout design and build phases
  • Attend design team meetings
  • CDM Documentation, preconstruction information and health and safety plans
  • Act as point of contact for all aspects of health and safety and CDM compliance.

The Successful Health and Safety Consultant:
The successful Health and Safety Consultant should hold the following:

  • NEBOSH General and Construction Certificate minimum
  • NCRQ / NEBOSH Diploma Level 6 or actively working to obtain
  • GradIOSH or Tech working towards
  • Membership of the Association of Project Safety (APS) preferable
