Late Shift - CNC Turner
Salary
£37, ,500 (depending on experience)

CNC MACHINIST JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established engineering company in the Ferndown area.

The successful machinist will be required to work the late shift rota, circa 40 hours per week, starting each day at 3.45pm.

Whist this is a full-time position, you will work a 4-day week.

CNC MACHINIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create Fanuc CNC programs.
Complete machine set ups in line with company procedures and expectations.
Machine maintenance and complete daily logs
Comply with component quality requirements and 'First Off' process.
Ensure parts are finished and deburred in line with expectations and companywide standards.
Complete corrective actions, observations & reviews presented by the quality department.
Fully support lean programmes: examples 6S and Lean manufacturing initiative programmes
Uphold company policies as directed by the senior management team, and work collaboratively within colleagues.

KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

You will ideally have a minimum of 3 years programming experience.
Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Take pride in your work and want to make a positive contribution to the overall performance of the engineering department.
