A rare opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Senior Leader to join our South West teams covering Devon & Cornwall.

Reporting to the Mortgage Services Managing Director - South.

You will lead and grow an experienced sales team of Mortgage Services Sales Managers and 25+ Mortgage & Protection Consultants.

We are looking for someone dynamic, driven and relentless in their approach to achieving success. You need to bring a proven track record of delivering key KPI's.

Retaining and developing the team to be the best they can be, inspiring change and ultimatelydeliver a high level of sustainable performance and generate profit.

Critically, you will work in close partnership with the Estate Agency Divisional Managing Director to implement, monitor and evaluate business plans to achieve the required growth in revenue from a range of income streams.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery of 2023 budget
Revenue, Headcount & Productivity.
You will be responsible for the certification of Sales Directors and Managers under your span of control.
Recruit, develop and retain a team of high performing Mortgage Services Sales Managers and Mortgage Consultants in line with the Company's recruitment plan.
Work closely alongside the Divisional Mortgage Direct and other Heads of Business to ensure a consistent and joined up approach is adopted in respect to all business development activities.
Work closely with the Group Training Directors to continually review the training & development needs of all team members.
Work closely with the Central Mortgage Services teams, Training and Development team, Marketing teams and relevant Connells Group external partners to ensure the effective delivery of all business initiatives, products and services.

Background, Experience and Qualifications:

3+ years experience in a mortgage sales management role with responsibility for a team of regulated Financial / Mortgage specialists and Regulated Supervisors, ideally within an estate agency / retail environment.
Proven track record in leading, motivating and influencing sales people in a customer facing environment.
Good perspective of financial services, estate agency and retail developments including latest technology developments.
Relevant Professional qualifications to fulfil the role e.g. minimum Certificate in Mortgage advice and practice (CeMAP) or industry recognised equivalent, preferred Diploma qualification / QCF Level four exam standards.
