My client is looking for an experienced CNC Press Brake Operative in the Attercliffe area of Sheffield.

The main duties include:

Work to the highest standards in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality at all times
To accurately programme/set and operate a range of CNC press brakes T).
Create new and edit CNC programmes at machine level from fabrication drawings using a Cyblec control system
Accurately produce bespoke sections within tolerances with mínimal scrap.
Maintain quality, complete documentation and inspect components to ensure they are within tolerances
Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements.
To perform a number of secondary operations.
Maintaining stock of materials/ parts
Satisfy challenging production targets and effectively stack products for downstream use.
Develop sensible bending methods and sequences in order to maximise throughput using a range of tooling.
Perform all required routine and minor maintenance activities according to procedures.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

It is essential the individual has the following:

Experience of Programming/Setting and operating CNC Press-brakes in a production environment.
Experience of creating new and editing existing CNC programmes at machine level
Experience of using Cyblec Control systems
Experience of using protractors and digital callipers to a 0.5mm tolerance.
Ability to understand engineering drawings.
Has exceptional spatial awareness
Ability to develop sensible bending methodologies
Experience of working to challenging production targets.
Ability to solve problems without need for constant support.
Ability to deal with change
Possess Good H&S awareness.
