We have an excellent opportunity for a Claims Operations Assistant role within our critical London Claims Operations team and offers a fantastic chance to work within the London Insurance Market in the specialty insurance space.

You be working as part ofa team of 6 with exposure across to working and building relations across the rest of the business or with some of our clients.

What you'll be doing:

Provide operational support, as directed, to Claims Team.
Assist in production of internal claims financials reports, claims KPI & other claims operations reports.
Provide support in managing the tracking and monitor in outsourcing costs spend of external providers.
Provide support for any functional projects.
Implement and maintain process controls to ensure the quality of the output of your area within the function. Ensure documentation of the processes and output is accurate, uptodate and accessible.
Lead and manage the process of obtaining, processing, qualitychecking, providing analysis and storing bordereaux & Performance MI data from all TPAs.
To participate in claims process, procedure and performance improvement implementation, including digital transformation, to ensure our claims proposition remains relevant to our external/internal clients' requirements

What are your key accountabilities?

Accountable for receipt, quality checking and processing of Bordereaux & TPA Performance MI for Delegated Authority business in order to ensure that accurate, appropriate and timely data is obtained and recorded accurately within relevant systems.

Assist Claims Adjusters with claims related queries & administrative tasks e.g. diary, reporting & static claims.

Validate internal claims management system (LLCS) to ensure all claim entries are accurate, up to date and correctly displayed.

Processing of transactional standard claims.

Complete ad hoc task as requested and participate in claims transformation and other business related projects.

Make suggestions for process improvements within your role.

Reporting - Run and check reports as required including:

In Cooperation with Claims Data Analyst, fulfill ad hoc data/reporting requests from stakeholders
Analysis of data and/or preparing reports for own & underwriters purpose

What we are looking for:

Technical Skills
Advanced Excel skills preferable

Following system skills desired but not essential

Xchanging, Class, ECF2 knowledge an advantage
Ability to analyse and summarise data and present in userfriendly reports
Aptitude for technical data analysis
Experience of project management or business process analysis (desirable)

A quick learner & desire for continuous self-improvement
