Procurement Specialist you will take a leading role in identification and selection of suppliers which will support the development to our Battery Storage Projects across the UK

  • Specifically, you'll be accountable for:
  • Leading on contract negotiations with suppliers to ensure value for money, savings are achieved and efficiencies are secured for the business whilst managing risk.
  • Preparing purchase orders and contracts for goods, works and services in consultation
  • Performing regular reviews of the performance of framework contracts within their market areas.
  • Supporting the commercial management team with warranty claims, disputes, contract amendments and variations.

The Skills


With previous experience in the Renewables and/or Construction industry or a similar capital-intensive environment you will have comprehensive knowledge of the principles of procurement and/or contract management.

You'll be able to demonstrate a track record of strong negotiation/influencing skills with an understanding of contract law underpinned with a degree in quantity surveying, procurement, or a business/commercial discipline and although not essential you may hold or be working toward MCIPS or RICS.
