Description

We are seeking a passionate Nursery Room Leader for our Nursery client committed to providing a loving and nurturing home-from-home experience for all the children.

Small class sizes mean they are able celebrate every child's individuality to build confidence, creativity and independence through their early years.


Salary:
Up to £24,000 depending on experience & qualifications


Annual Leave: 4 weeks paid leave + Bank Holidays. 1 additional paid day off for each year of employment up to 1 additional week. A day off on your birthday

If you are qualified at Level 3, ideally with Room Leader experience, have a comprehensive knowledge of the EYFS and are passionate about making a difference to every child's overall health and well-being, then we would love to hear from you.


Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Leadership of all aspects of your team and classroom
  • Ensuring that the EYFS curriculum is implemented, through imaginative, creative and childled initiatives
  • Taking on the role of key worker for your designated children
  • Working in partnership with parents by providing effective feedback on their child's learning and holding one to one
meetings.

  • Have a passion for working with children and developing their learning through play.
  • Hold a minimum level 3 or equivalent qualification with Room Leadership experience
  • Have a thorough understanding and handson experience of the EYFS, child development and Ofsted regulations.
  • Show a commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children as well as high standards in confidentiality.
  • Be able to work collaboratively to live their mission and values.
  • Have excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Hold current Paediatric First Aid certification
