Role Description:
Bridge Recruitment is currently networking for a Commercial Assistant to join the Team of one of our clients, a well-renowned company providing cleaning services to customers UK-wide.
As Commercial Assistant, you will be responsible for client and subcontractorliaison, ensuring all agreements are well communicated to all parties, while auditing subcontractor services, making sure all costs are being charged appropriately.
The ideal Commercial Assistant will have a good standard of general numeracy, English and communicationand have awareness and understanding of the cleaning industry.
Responsibilities:
- Auditing subcontractor services, ensuring all costs are being charged to clients appropriately
- Investigating subcontractor charge discrepancies and liaising where necessary
- Designing/preparing of presentations/proposals as required
- Client and subcontractor liaison
- Analysing multiple cost sheets and cross referencing
- Completing contract amendments for any changes to contracts
- Contract cost increases i.e. London Living Wage and Minimum Wage
- Cost for additional services or any changes to services i.e. frequencies
- Liaising with Managers to ensure accurate cost sheets are maintained for all contracts
- Covering Commercial Manager's annual leave and ensuring contract amendments are still applied in their absence
- Any other reasonable requests by the Commercial Manager or Finance Director
Requirements:
- Good standard of general numeracy, English and communication
- General financial, accounting and commercial understanding are a plus
- Intermediate Microsoft Office/Google Work skills, especially Google Sheets/Excel spreadsheet knowledge
- Cross checking/attention to detail, investigative disposition
- Client and subcontractor liaison
- Awareness and understanding of the cleaning industry, as well as other departments' circumstances and operations
- Presentation/design skills
- High standard of organisation
