The NHS GM Integrated Care System is recruiting for a Project Support Officer to help deliver the strategic objectives of its dedicated Dementia Programme, 'Dementia United'.

It's an exciting time to be joining a dedicated and dynamic team to help drive system quality improvement in partnership with multi-agency colleagues, clinicians and people with lived experience of dementia across Greater Manchester.


The post holder will work as part of the Dementia United team with a vision to make Greater Manchester the best place to live for people affected by Dementia.


In particular, the post holder will be required to:

  • Provide project support to the Dementia United team
  • Provide high quality project support service including programme monitoring and governance
  • Undertake reporting and analysis of information to support delivery including engagement with people with lived experience of dementia and carers.
Dementia United is the Dementia Programme for the NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care System.

The strategic aims of the Dementia Programme need to be delivered against the backdrop of merging 12 organisations into one and GM's ambition to provide high quality integrated health and care services for the people of Greater Manchester.

Responsibilities may also include (but are not limited to) the following activities:

  • Programme and project management support, including coordination of programme reporting returns and administration
  • Progress chasing and monitoring programme plans and key milestones; and updating delivery plans
  • Workshop/Network/Meeting/Working Groups project support including;
  • Diary management for the work of the DU team including organising events and meetings
  • Notetaking/minutes/ agendas updating and managing documents for governance boards.
  • Electronic filing
  • Ensuring, coordinating and aligning support to members of the Dementia United team.
Be a key member of the team as well as supporting effective communication and stakeholder management, both internally and externally
