Self Employed Support Worker
We are looking for a support worker to join another support worker for a private client in Exminster.

No personal care required
Car driver an advantage

hours per week required by negotiation with the client

Assistance to access the local community
Companionship care

Duties:

Provide direct support and care to individuals with disabilities or special needs
Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation
Support individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills
Create and implement individualised care plans based on the needs and goals of each individual
Promote a safe and supportive environment for individuals to thrive in
Foster positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other support team members
Document and maintain accurate records of services provided and individual progress

Requirements:

Self employed Support Worker Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred, head injury experience advantageous
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Compassionate and patient demeanour
Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
