Ealing & Hounslow Community and Voluntary Services provide a wide range of support services and high-quality development and capability building advice and support to local voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations in the London Boroughs of Ealing and Hounslow.

Our services include training, volunteering support and development, safeguarding development, group development and funding advice, as well as the operation of two Volunteer Centres, West Ealing Community Managed Library and National Lottery Advice and Rescue Hub.

We are looking for volunteers to lead activities.

One of the activity we are looking to recruit for is an English teacher for international people.

The FREE class has been ongoing for a year, and now we are looking for a new volunteer to take over.

No qualifications or certificates are required.

An excellent oral and written English and the ability to communicate with people.

The class has mixed level.

The class takes place every Wednesday 11:30 to 1:30 at West Ealing Community Library


What will you gain from working on the project?

  • Build employability with familiarity gained in communications, event organisation, community services and administration
  • Be trained by staff members on different aspects of organization, outreach, communications, and delivery
  • Enjoy contributing to projects aimed at connecting the community

Timings and location:
we will be looking for volunteers to support on your selected weekdays during working hours and based on availability. You will be based at West Ealing Library (office), Melbourne Avenue, London, W13 9BT.


Volunteer Expenses:
travel expenses will be paid.


Requirements:
The volunteering opportunity is open to residents above the age of 18.

Between 2-4 hours a week is the minimum we would expect from a volunteer. This could be for one month, or 1 year - it is absolutely up to you and we are flexible





PLEASE NOTE:

We are hiring volunteers, therefore expense will be paid, but the work is on a voluntarily basis and it will be unpaid.
