Change Public Practice are working with a well-established and respected Chartered Accountancy firm based in Dunfermline city centre to assist them in the recruitment of a fully qualified or qualified by experience Client Portfolio Manager to join theircorporate accounting team.
This role will play a pivotal part in managing and building strong client relationships, and will be the key point of contact for a varied portfolio of the firm's clients, focusing on both the compliance and advisory side of accounting matters and you willbe responsible for delivering technical training to junior colleagues.
This firm currently operate on a hybrid working model (3 days in the office per week, 2 from home) with core working hours between 10am-2:30pm to ensure that you are able to maintain client relations but to allow flexibility in your day, no matter what yourpersonal circumstances are.
You'll be asked to make up your contracted hours before a new working week so the choice is with the individual.

- Providing accountancy services to a high standard in order to meet the requirements of the clients and to exceed clients' expectations
- Preparing annual and management accounts in addition to ad hoc tax computation preparation as required
- Providing budgets & forecasting information for clients on their request
- Work closely with senior leadership team to support and develop the accounts team including review of work and coaching and mentoring junior members of staff
- Setting up clients on cloud accounting packages, as well as further training & maintaining of associated apps and plug ins
Requirements:
- You will have experience of working in an accountancy firm environment i.e. Top 10, Mid-Tier CA, Independent CA firm and have an understanding of client deadlines
- Must have strong technical accounting skills to be able to hit the ground running
- You will be able to manage a portfolio of clients, prepare statutory and management accounts and be keen to start reviewing work prepared by junior members of staff
- Previous experience to Xero and Receiptbank would be advantageous. Experience of Quickbooks would also be considered.
- The mindset of the person is key so someone who is forwardthinking and keen to work with cloud accounting software is essential
- This role would suit someone who is highly ambitious and keen to develop into a management role in the shortterm
