Job Description:
Within the Building Engineering Division is currently seeking a full time ICT Consultant / Engineer. This role is to be based in at one of AECOMs UK Offices
As part of AECOM's Security & Technology team the group provides ICT design and support services to complement and enhance the design activities of the Mechanical and Electrical teams.
The role covers the design of ICT systems across a wide range of industry sectors including office fit out, mixed use, industrial through to multiple government organisations.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Communication Room design
- ITC cabinet design
- Structured cabling design
- Telecoms planning
- Wireless networks
- LAN switch networks
- Connected Real Estate
- Designs will also need support and interface to other third party Internet Protocol (IP) based technologies including:
- Security
- CCTV and Access Control
- AV and Multimedia including IPTV, digital signage, room booking systems BMS and iBMS Intelligent buildings
- Lighting control and other MEP related services
- As projects move to a construction phase the role requires site attendance
- Undertaking client design team meetings
- Site inspections
- Test result analysis
- Witness testing
