    About Jefferies Credit Partners

    Jefferies Credit Partners is a leading private credit manager, part of Jefferies Finance LLC. Founded in 2004 as a joint venture between Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company and Jefferies, it invests in middle market direct lending transactions.

    The Role

    We are seeking an Analyst or Associate to support our European private credit platform's growth. You will work with senior and junior team members reviewing new investments and monitoring existing ones over time.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct underwriting due diligence on new investment opportunities, including industry research, company analysis, and financial assessment.
    • Prepare and refine financial models, including leveraged buyout and cash flow analysis.
    • Perform market research using public data and proprietary databases.
    • Lead the creation and presentation of screening memos and investment committee approval documents.
    • Assist in preparing pitch materials for clients.
    • Support operational aspects of transactions from initial review through closing/funding.
    • Proactively manage existing investments by analyzing historical and projected performance, monitoring industry trends, and processing amendment requests.
    • Participate in business development projects as needed.

    Requirements:

    • 2-3 years of experience in private credit, leveraged finance, and/or investment banking.
    • Degree-level education with a strong academic record.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in additional European languages advantageous.
    • Strong analytical skills, including financial statement analysis, financial modeling, valuation, and market research.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Outlook.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic team environment.
    • Teamwork oriented with effective communication across all levels of the organization.
    • Unquestionable integrity and ethics.
