Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Support the educational and emotional needs of students within the classroom.
  • Provide individual or group support to students with additional needs.
  • Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Help implement and adhere to school policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and staff.
  • Empathy and patience to support students' individual learning and wellbeing.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work collaboratively in a dynamic school environment.
  • An understanding of child development and effective learning strategies.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in Education or Childcare are advantageous.
