Night shifts available 4 on 4 off £12.33ph


We are looking to recruit Children's support workers to support our incredible young people in day to day activities of living.


Do you have the empathy, compassion, resilience and positive parenting skills required to help support young people and change their lives for the better? Here, you'll join a supporting driven team, helping and guiding young Children of a mixed gender who are experiencing mental health challenges.

The duties you carry out for our young people can have positive life-changing results. This is a therapeutically enabling residential home of 11 beds.

The home has two wings, both wings in the residential home have en-suite bedrooms and one dining room with cooking facilities where the young people can make their own meals or cook for others.

The home provides full funding for NVQ3 in Children and Young People to progress within their career.

Day to day duties

  • Care plans and documentation completed and updated
  • To work with firm and consistent boundaries in order to create safety and containment for the child as part of the staff team, within CAMHS policy and statute and as part of the children's Treatment Plan.
  • To work alongside the child to help develop a true sense of identity and feel of selfworth.
  • To talk and listen to the child, to observe their behaviour, and record significant features.
  • To work within Child Protection/Safeguarding policy and practice.
  • To be aware of the child's rights and to work in an antidiscriminatory and antioppressive manner.
  • To assist in preparation for reviews, meetings and attend when required.
  • Approachable towards the team and children
  • Hands on professional role model Adaptable and able to read situation and help our young people make positive choices
