Fully Remote Trademark Attorney Role

A fantastic international Law Firm are seeking a 1- 3 PQE ( Ideally ) Trademark Attorney to join them on a full time basis whilst working fully remote.


Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Advising clients on securing appropriate IP protection
  • Portfolio management of client's IP on their behalf
  • Liaison with Trade Mark registration authorities on behalf of clients
  • Preparing and supervising UK, European Union, International (WIPO) and global trade mark filings
  • Advising clients on the strength of their marks and registrability
  • Advising and assisting with the prosecution of Trade Mark and design disputes, including Trade Mark oppositions, cancellations actions, renewals work and other maintenance issues
  • Advising on infringement
  • Reviewing portfolios for potential acquisitions, assisting with due diligence exercises and advising on relevant materials issued

Person specification

  • Full qualification as a Trade Mark Attorney, ideally with 13 years postqualification experience


  • A strong degree

  • Proven experience in oppositions, cancellations, invalidity actions before the UKIPO and EUIPO
  • Impeccable written English and firstrate communication skills

Hours and basis
This is a full-time, permanent position working 35 hours per week. We operate hybrid working and can accommodate most requirements so long as client and business needs are met.
