Description
As the trauma scheduling administrator for Max Fax & Plastics, you will be responsible for providing a complrehensive and efficient booking service for all maxillofacial patients awaiting treatment on an acute trauma pathway.
You will also be responsible for providing administrative support for the trauma pathways in Plastic Surgery.
You will be responsible for providing secretrial assistance to the Major Trauma team ensuring provision of an efficient and reliable service.
- To provide a comprehensive and efficient booking service for all Maxilla facial patients awaiting treatment on an acute trauma pathway.
- To provide administrative to the support for the trauma pathways in Plastic Surgery
- Provide secretarial assistance to the Major Trauma team ensuring the provision of an efficient and reliable service
- To work with Consultants in order to help manage their waiting lists to ensure it is clean and without historic informatio
- To ensure that admission requests are processed and booked in line with the Trust Access Policy. This requires both timely and accurate input of data onto Cerner and other electronic and paper systems as required
- To ensure patients are treated within clinical priority parameters
- To recognise and correct errors in pathways on Cerner
- Ensure clinical administration is dealt with effectively, including those matters where liaison with other departments, hospitals or services is necessary
- To work as part of the administration team to provide the best possible customer service for patients and colleagues
