I am currently recruiting for a Management Accountant for a large business in St. Albans.

This role is suitable for someone with proven Management Accounting experience and looking to come in and make a difference.

Salary:
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum


Location: 2 days in the office in St Albans, 3 at home

  • General accounting during the month
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
  • Responsible for accruals and prepayments
  • Complete balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Balance sheet account reconciliations, review and approve
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Prepare and approve journals for the FR&A team
  • Investigate and resolve supplier billing discrepancies and related inquiries
  • Internal & External audit
  • Management Reporting, provide insightful commentary
  • Variance analysis
  • Fixed asset reporting
  • Review, and submit VAT returns to the Central Team
  • Manage and respond to Tax enquiries
  • Supporting Lead Accountants

Personal Skills and Attributes:

  • Part Qual (ACCA,ACA, CIMA or equivialent)
  • Proven Management Accounting experience
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Hard working, dedicated and a great relationship builder
  • Attention to detail
  • Available to start as soon as possible
