Description

Purpose of the Role:


  • Working within the process to deliver ceramic cores to satisfy both aerospace and industrial gas turbine customers around the world

As a Production Operative you will be responsible for:

  • Manual Finishing
  • High Dexterity Task working on small products
  • Preparing, manufacturing and decanting of ceramic casting cores for Aeronautical and Industrial processes
  • Operating of large production kilns using a variety of unloading machinery whilst ensuring safety of coworkers and surroundings before, during and after a cycle
  • Ensuring all relevant paperwork is accurate and completed at the highest level of compliance
  • Keeping workplace and all surrounding areas free of health and safety defects
  • Experience in manufacturing operations & production environment
  • Good manual dexterity skills
  • Able to work to technical instructions and adhere to fixed processes and quality standards
  • Confident in interpreting engineering drawings
  • Previous Aerospace manufacturing experience advantageous
  • Knowledge & experience of a wide range of inspection techniques
