How you can help us

Knowledge

Experience in traditional wood machining
Ability to operate and program 5axis CNC with training given on 6th Axis work
Alphacam CAD/CAM programming experience
Can read and follow technical drawings for construction
Keen eye for timber selection
Ability to plan work to meet production deadlines
Ability to come up with inventive fixtures and jigs
First aid trained or willing to learn
Forklift truck licence or willing to learn

Skills:

Systematic and precise, can work to project timelines
Willingness to learn and develop
Positive, enthusiastic and has a cando attitude
Good communication skills to liaise with wider team of designers, drafts people, project managers
Attention to detail and problem solving to improve processes and efficiency.
Quality in workmanship and striving for perfection

Key details:

Salary is dependent on experience
This Permanent position is available immediately

Full time

Monday to Friday
At our Lancaster workshop
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
