FMC Meditech are currently working with a global manufacturer of speciality medical devices.

They are looking for an Account Manager to join their team in East Anglia and represent a portfolio of Vascular access devices.

The role

As an Account Manager, you'll be responsible for a portfolio of Vascular access devices, selling these products into hospital and community environments to achieve sales targets for your region and grow the market share of the company.

This role has a corefocus on bringing in new business and developing new and existing accounts - you will build credible relationships with key clinical, procurement and technical individuals to showcase and optimise the safety and efficiency of the Vascular access portfolio.


  • Responsibilities include: _
  • Sell a range of Vascular access products to meet company targets
  • Work with existing accounts and customers
  • Seeking out new business opportunities
  • Becoming an expert in the technical and methodological requirements of the Vascular access portfolio
  • Analyse and utilise sales data to enable growth and business projection
  • Developing and maintaining a strong product knowledge

The requirements:


  • You'll have a comprehensive medical device sales experience (3+ years'), preferably including the sale of Surgical and/or Vascular products, as well as:_
  • Post-Secondary Education Certificate or University degree
  • Customerfocused with an aptitude for developing longterm relationships
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology
  • Results orientated and able to work in a team environment
  • Positive attitude, creative and innovative
  • Computer literate (including MS Office and CRM)
  • Selfmotivated, ambitious and driven
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • This role is field based. Typically requires travel more than 50% of the time._
