    Job Title: Risk Analyst

    We are seeking an experienced Risk Analyst to support our Chief Risk Officer and wider team in enhancing and evolving the risk management framework across our growing (re)insurance group.

    The successful candidate will work closely with all areas of the group to deliver a comprehensive risk profile, presenting an opportunity to develop a deep and broad knowledge of the business.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Risk Assessment Support: Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across the organization. Develop risk mitigation strategies.
    • ERM Framework Assistance: Implement and maintain the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    • Internal Model Validation: Assist in the internal model validation process. Provide support and insights to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Policy and Procedure Development: Help develop and update risk management policies and procedures. Ensure they are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
    • Reporting: Prepare and present risk reports to senior management. Provide insights and recommendations based on risk assessments.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to risk management. Engage with external stakeholders as needed.
    • Deep Dives / Thematic Reviews: Contribute or lead aspects of in-depth reviews of specific risk areas. Provide detailed analysis and actionable recommendations.

    Key Personal Skills:

    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to create and develop excellent relationships.
    • Intellectual curiosity, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Demonstrable experience of operating within a varied and busy Risk Management environment.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, focusing on precision and accuracy.
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, structure work to meet internal requirements.

    Desired Technical Skills:

    • Experience in the Lloyd's market is advantageous but not essential.
    • Self-management, identifying specific activities of the role in context of the business's goals.
    • Strong communication skills to effectively manage internal stakeholders of all levels.
    • Experience in managing GRC systems, enhancements or implementations.
    • Understanding of the risk profiles our products have, incl. how these are monitored and managed.
    • Possibly around 3+ years relevant industry experience.

    Compliance Responsibilities:

    • Ensure compliance with company and other relevant standards and regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant PRA and FCA conducts rules.
