We are looking for individuals to join our Restaurant Team in the Mansion House Hotel as Waiter/Waitress is a key role in ensuring all our guests have the very best start to the day, providing the highest service levels and engagement to all of our guests, maintaining our Hotel standard.

You will need to work efficiently at all times ensuring attention to detail and exceptional customer service.

Your 'can do' attitude, which you will use with guests and with your team members, will be one of your biggest strengths.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide the highest quality Restaurant service with a smile.
  • To assist in setting up the breakfast service and offer a personal and discreet service.
  • Welcoming and providing personalized service to all guests.
  • Assists guests by helping them to seat and pour coffee, cleaning tables, and also cleaning of Breakfast/ Dining area.
  • Attend to hotel guest needs and requests.
  • Must be aware of the restaurant's menu items and beverage choices.
  • Must know about the entire property, services, hours of operation, locations, nearby places of interest, etc.
  • Prepare and consistently maintain the Breakfast/Dining area and supplies in a guestready atmosphere.
  • Preparing foods such as fruit and milk machines or dispensers.
  • Responsible for stocking coffee, juice, and milk machines or dispensers.
  • Ensure breakfast items are continually replenished and presented in an appealing manner.
  • Wiping up spills and maintaining the cleanliness of all appliances and counter space throughout the breakfast shift.
  • Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, practicing cleanasyougo procedures.
  • Any other duties around preparation, set up, and service of the complimentary breakfast/Dining.
  • Maintain the inventory of all breakfast products
  • Washing, wiping serving equipment and returning it to storage.
  • Locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklist.
  • Returning reusable supplies to storage.
  • Responsible for taking inventory of food, beverages, and supplies for each day.
  • Work as a team member in aspects such as: cleaning, side work, food preparation, and storage.
  • Closeout shift by cleaning and restocking supplies for the next day or shift.
  • Ensure guests are provided with the highest quality product and service at all times.
  • Solve guest issues with professionalism and always maintain a hospitable attitude.
  • To be a team player with excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to interact with colleagues and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Be very well presented and able to remain calm under pressure

Prerequisites:
Service-minded friendly professional behavior.

Multi-task, remain associate and guest service-centric.

Good knowledge of Food and Beverage Service.


Salary:
From £10.42 per hour


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Elgin, IV30 1AW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
