The Trust is looking to recruit one 0.4 WTE research midwife, in an exciting developmental opportunity.


The aim of this post is to allow a high calibre midwife to develop their skills in the field of research.

In collaboration with the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine we aim to equip the individual with the skills and qualifications to become strong autonomous research practitioner within their specialist clinical field and have a clear vision to improve practice.


The post holder will be responsible in supporting the team at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine undertake a study that aims to generate evidence surrounding the availability, access and experiences of pregnancy loss and bereavement support interventions for parents from ethnic minority communities, and to identify factors which could improve equity and outcomes.


The postholder will be expected to spend at least 1 day per week at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.

Internal secondments may be considered but applicants MUST SEEK APPROVAL from their substantive clinical line manager FIRST.
