Description

The Rehabilitation Administrator will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy within the Post Covid Assessment Service.

They will be supported by a Senior Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist to assist with patient care and ensure the therapy caseload is operating effectively and efficiently.

The main role of the Rehabilitation Administrator will be to support patients via the Living with Covid Recovery App. This digital platform enables remote support of patients as they engage with rehabilitation resources guided by the Rehabilitation Administrator.


We are looking for a passionate and organised rehabilitation assistant or an administrator with an interest in rehabilitation who can work both independently and as part of a team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who can spin multiple plates and is highly organised We are looking for someone who can build rapport with ease with both patients and staff members and has a good, confident telephone manner.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Booking triage and follow up appointments
  • Supporting with discharge letters
  • To support with the administration of the therapy clinicians.
  • Sending resources and onward referrals
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments and meetings
  • To support Occupational Therapist with patient monitoring and follow up
  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate person or department
  • Prepare and edit documents and reports
  • Data collection as part of the evaluation of the service as guided by Senior Therapists
  • Maintain a clean and organised office space
  • To oversee Living with Covid Recovery App administration
  • Review patients who have enrolled onto the App
  • Encouraging patient engagement
  • Monitoring uptake of the app and updating clinical plans.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Part-time hours: 30 per week


Salary:
From £11.50 per hour
